is this a joke? how could this be in second place, barely any sign of attention to this track. especially in comparison to the others. it’s ludicrous to think this could be in second place considering the fact that only a several days ago this track was placed near the bottom tier of the table…must be some sophistacted cheating going on here.

I’m sure this was great fun to make and you spent lots of time doing so, so well done! but in my personal opinion the quality of the track compared to some of the leaders in the competition (and others) this is not 1st place material. i cant help think something fishy is happening here.

In the time it took for the leaderboard to refresh you had 10 more votes, it doesnt make sence to be getting so many so quickly!

You using intranet at work perhaps or having all your friends doing it as well. Your votes do not equate to fair play, or people coming onto listen to all entries.

You are using underhand methods to gain votes. You will never have any luck by doing that!

Well, the STV had their knuckles wrapped for phone votes last year during the Ant & Dec program. This this should def be investigated.

It is unfair to good contestants whose entries are, by far, better than the rubbish of Vantage. One thing for sure, his music would put off potential buyers of the car!

So come on 30Beats – do something about it and let’s see fair play. It is one thing contestants having their families and friends vote for them but this is ridiculous.

Thanks Zeo, but there is no point – lets be smarter then them. Anyway – i will not win because person behind me will get 400 votes in one day on Saturday and will win the contest…. His fans for the last two days there were really busy, they just find the time to vote between 9pm – 11pm or durning the night but everything is getting back to normal. And the gentleman with a comercial track for Eurovision – well… Thats the mechanical contest, right ?

I’ve been getting a consistent number of votes all through the competition. And I get them all day long. I’m not the one getting 95 votes in the space of three hours. As a matter of fact, all of my voters can be verified as real people. I doubt you can say the same.

And mechanical music does not have to mean monotonous. Got a little lost when you looked mechanical up in the dictionary, eh?

There are much better tracks than this in the competition. I find the apparent support that this track has received extremely suspicious. Is there any way of checking who has voted? I think that some dodgy voting has taken place.

This track is terrible.

30 Beats – You’ve gone awfully quiet. Why isn’t someone from the competition checking this out?
I refuse to believe that sending out flyers enables Vantage to be accumulating such a vast amount of votes in such a small space of time each evening. There are only about 8 posts on this page in support of this so-called music so why isn’t someone sorting this out?!
I just think its a shame that the obviously most-popular track (Thomas Jones) looks like it’s going to be dismissed in favour of something my 1 year old daughter could produce better!

30 Beats – in the interest of fairness, I think it’s high time you gave us another statement!!

In the interest of fairness and the intergrity of the competition, I believe it is the organizers duty to investigate how this entrant can accumulate so many votes in a space of 2 hours, when other entrants (i.e. Thomas Jones) have consistent votes throughout the day.

Personally, I think this raises the question that 30Beats isn’t monitioring the competition closely enough and at this stage in the game, monitoring any unusual patterns should be a priority!

i agree with all the above points…flyers or no flyers, this track continues to gain an absurd amount of votes every day and rather peculiarly around evening time.

When 30 Beats stepped in and stripped votes off people that were seemingly cheating Thomas was revealed to be one of the only true contenders that was actually participating in the competition fairly. A quick check of his video’s plays combined with a bit of simple online research will show that he has publicised his entry well and that his votes are valid.

It simply does not stand to reason that with such a small amount of video plays, lack of online social site promotion and (to put it mildly) dodgy voting patterns that Vantage is gaining this absurd number of LEGITIMATE votes.

Something very strange about this one. Other (much better) entries have been gradually increasing their votes daily and this one comes out of nowhere and goes to the top. Hmmmmmm!!!

Well I hope the truth comes out before the end of the comp, There is no way this rushed and crap track is worthy of winning.

At what point was this contest ever fair? Seems to me everyone’s just pulling out all the stops to get as many votes as possible, which is what’s been happening all along. However it’s happened, everyone involved in this thing knows full well that probably about 5% of the votes (if that) have come from genuine voters. By that I mean people that don’t know any of the entrants and are actually voting for the track they think is best. All other votes, in my opinion, are biased and therefore ‘unfair’.

Look, the rules are the rules. This has never been about who’s got the best track, so whether you like Vantage’s effort or not is academic. And incidentally there’s no need for some of the rude comments on this page – competition aside remember the guy is still a musician and this is his work. I’m sure that most of you ‘critics’ wouldn’t know where to start producing something like this.

But it’s not about the track. It’s about votes. Sounds to me like all the Thomas Jones fans are just a little bitter now the numbers aren’t going their way anymore.

I don’t care that Vantage is obvious in on the scam somewhere, just as long as TJ doesn’t win – as him and his friends sound a right bunch of dimwits.

The funny thing is that if Vantage wins and they actually use this then Hyundai are totally shooting themselves in the foot. As close to justice as we’re going to get I suppose.
