Mike Mouat motors ahead for charity

30beats has found another good Samaritan in the form of Mike Mouat who has pledged to sell the 30beats grand prize.

If Mike is successful and wins the competition, he has promised to sell the Hyundai i30 and donate 90% of the profits (10% to cover listing costs, etc) to the following charities:

70% – Marie Curie Cancer Care

Marie Curie nurses provide free nursing care to cancer patients and those with other terminal illnesses in their own homes.

20% – World Land Trust – Buy an Acre scheme

The Buy an Acre concept relies on land prices being relatively low in certain countries. For example a donation of £50 will save one acre, on average, in Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay and Brazil.
