Official Terms and Conditions

  1. competition is open to individuals or groups of individuals aged 18 or over who are registered users of YouTube, excluding anyone materially connected to the administration of the competition.
  2. Promoter of the competition is Hyundai
  3. Competition is open to UK Residents only
  4. Entrants must create and submit a track which is original work and does not contain or infringe intellectual property and privacy of a third party. Entrants must ensure that they have obtained the consent of any person featured in the piece of work. Please respect copyright. Entrants must only upload videos that they made or that they are authorized to use. This means that entrants must not upload videos they didn’t make, or use content in their videos to which someone else owns the copyright, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programmes or videos made by other users, without requisite authorizations
  5. All tracks and videos submitted are subject to moderation. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to upload or not upload any video and to remove any video already uploaded without giving reasons for the decision. The Promoter shall in particular refuse to upload any video for the following reasons:
    1. Defamatory or malicious content
    2. Dangerous content
    3. Inclusion of content in songs or videos to which someone else owns the copyright, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programmes or videos made by other users, without the requisite authorisations
    4. Breach of these terms and conditions or the YouTube terms and conditions
  6. Prize is a Hyundai i30 Comfort
  7. Competition entries must be submitted onto www.30beats.co.uk by 01.10.09
  8. Only one entry per person may be submitted. Entrants will retain ownership to the track & video each submits. However, by entering the competition each entrant grants Hyundai, and other Hyundai entities globally, a royalty free licence to use the entry, or any part of it, themselves in any manner and without further approval or consideration including financial reimbursement without limitation
  9. Hyundai reserve the right to disqualify entrants suspected of being involved in cheating or any attempt to unfairly manipulate the results by any means (ie automatic of multiple voting)
  10. The prize will be awarded to the entrant who receives most ‘thumbs up’ votes on the Hyundai site. In the event of a tie, all tied entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Hyundai who will determine at their sole discretion the best entry
  11. Counting of the “Thumbs up” votes will take place by 01.11.09. Any judging due to a tied number of “thumbs up” votes will take place on 07.11.09 and will be supervised by an independent observer
  12. Voters must register online to begin voting. Only one “Thumbs up” per person per video will be counted on each day of the competition
  13. The winners will be notified via email by 08.11.09
  14. Winners will receive the car by 01.01.10
  15. If a winner cannot be contacted within 30 days from 08.11.09, an alternative winner will be chosen
  16. The name and county of the winners and the names of the judges will be available to anyone sending a stamped addressed envelope to Daisy Whitehouse or Gary Bramwell at Brazen PR, Brazen House, 27 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester, M4 5AJ within 28 days after the published closing date. No other correspondence will be entered into.
  17. Hyundai reserves the right to publish the name, photographs, and county of the winners or to publicize the prize-giving presentation after the date of the competition
  18. The winner must make themselves available to take part in PR activity following their announcement
  19. All entrants to the competition will be deemed to have accepted the rules and terms and conditions
  20. The competition may be promoted in other online promotions and in the press before the closing date
  21. Any personal information provided by the Entrants will only be used for the purposes of the competition or as otherwise set out in these terms and conditions
  22. These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English Courts. If any provision of these terms is invalid under the law of a particular country, it will only apply to the extent permitted
  23. Hyundai reserves the right to alter the stated competition dates
