The huge pads, deep pounding beats and drawn out synths remind me of being blind drunk throwing up in an alley on a dark rainy saturday night in the mist of winter in Manchester.

Hands down the best music here. (Why did you guys have to make videos??) Perfect use of the car sound effects IMO, they only stand out just enough.

How did you come up with some of those melodies? Really refined. Bravo!

Decent, solid, track. It doesn’t really make me think “Hyundai” or even “Cars” for that matter and that’s why I’m not giving it a great rating. It’s not got enough pace to it. When you think cars, you don’t think of slow, ponderous music (which I class as ‘thinking music’ because it’s the kind of music you can just kick back to and chill). You think of vibrant, fun, energetic pieces because no car company wants to be labelled ‘boring’. It’s just my opinion but this music, while clearly well composed, constructed and mixed, would go well as the music that gets played when you get put on hold by a call centre. Good luck for the rest of the competition.

How come all your votes are cast at the same time every night? 250 points in 30 minutes is quite some feat!

Thanks for critique, guys..
Oh and dymon, I’m going down and telling people to vote from college computer lab! Pretty sure it was OK’d by the team here… anything goes when you’re practically car-less, right?? :\

Oh how convenient that last comment popped up to support your questionable explanation.

Good work on this – have you done much classical composition in the past?

I ask because the chord progression is peculiarly original in its feeling, something you don’t see a lot in music these days.. PM me, I’m interested in hearing more.

i really liked your track mr sedletsky..

my hubby and i use sonar to produce this type of music… but havent heard sounds quite like the ones youve used before — well minus the car ones of course. ^o^

very cool pad sound toward the beg. – it fits perfectly with the beat and the overall mood. kudos…

cheers

Hahah, regis… pleasure to be compared with such a classic, but yikes. >_<

_____________
Also, just wanted to say best of luck to the rest of the contestants, as without the votes from my computer-lab voting-recruitment ventures, I doubt I could stay competitive with these massive vote #'s (no one really helps via social media), so I think I'll probably just face the facts and get back to REAL schoolwork like midterms and all the like.. heh.

Cheers, all.. :)

Its a shame you didn’t have enough faith in your own composition Eugene; the recent leaderboard activity speaks for itself.

Thanks to 30beats for bringing the fairness element back!
